Walking in Cornwall
The best way to discover Cornwall is by walking its narrow lanes, open moors and coast paths. The scenery is diverse and wonderful and whether you want ancient monuments, beautiful views, fishing villages or tin mines there’s a walk for you.
With over 200 miles of stunning coast path, twelve Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and a plethora of inland trails criss-crossing the county, there are walks for everyone, all year round.
We offer three kinds of walk across Western Cornwall:
- self led walking holidays and short breaks
- guided walking holidays and short breaks
- two hour to full day guided walks
We do extend our services throughout the county, but can only comfortably call ourselves local experts in the West Cornwall.
All of our walks and walking holidays in Cornwall are designed for you as an individual. We know that every group expects something different and we try to find out just what it is that you want before we begin or set you on your way. We know the trails and walk them ourselves whenever we are fortunate enough to have the time. Walking holidays and guided walks in Cornwall are our speciality.
If you have an idea of what you would like, take a look at our suggested itineraries and see if you can find it there. If not, please contact us and we will come up with some suggestions.

Guided Walking Holidays in Cornwall
Similar to our self led walking holidays, these are a stress free way to discover Cornwall in the best possible way, by walking. These holidays however, come with a private tour guide who in addition to taking care of all your problems, leads you across forgotten trails and hidden gems, explaining and telling the stories that make Cornwall so rich in folklore.
These are relaxed tours where you dictate the pace. No need to consult the map, puzzle over unclear trails or even decide where to go in the evening. Your guide will take care of all of this and you can concentrate on enjoying the experience.
Guided Walks
If you are already in the region and want to do something a little different, a guided walk is a great option. Enjoy a relaxed and informal walk exploring West Conrwall's hidden corners, fascinating history and fantastic scenery.
Our walks all take place in West Cornwall, run every day, three times a day and take you to the most interesting and beautiful spots in the region. From Stone Age monuments set on rugged moorland to hill top Iron Age forts and mining remains in the secluded valleys. With a knowledgeable local guide to explain the history and folklore of these unique places, it is certainly a pleasant and invigorating way to spend a couple of hours. The walks are great fun and a real opportunity to get away from the normal tourist track and see something a little more Cornish.

Regards Walking in Conwall
Cornwall offers excellent walking for independent walkers. With over 250 miles of coast path and a selection of inland tracks that criss-cross stunning moorland and wooded valleys, it's no wonder that hikers are attracted from all over the world. Superb fishing villages and towns dot the coast line and offer convenient stop offs at convenient distances.
West Cornwall, in our opinion is the most dramatic, beautiful and untainted region of this formidable county. To walk here is to take a step in to another world.
